Star Dominoes, the math puzzle from “Le Monde” No. 73

Could you tile the grids shown in Figures B and C with dominoes each occupying two squares, in such a way that they do not overlap and that each domino covers a star or is adjacent to a domino that covers a star? Two dominoes are adjacent if they have a side or piece of a side in common, but not if they only touch at a vertex. In Figure A, the star domino is adjacent to the two light gray dominoes, but not to the dark gray one.
